What can you build with LIMBERboard? Part Two

September 13, 2013

We created LIMBERboard to bring wearable technology to the maker community. While we’re crowdfunding, we thought it’d be great to start the creative juices flowing among our backers. So – what can you build with LIMBERboard?

In the past 2 years, wearable technology has become a force, primarily in the athletics industry. From professional athletes to those kickstarting a new fitness regimen, everyone wants to track their activity.

A well-placed LIMBERboard can track a runner's strides per minute and the impact of each step. Are your strides efficient? Are you injuring yourself with hard-hitting steps? Data collected by LIMBERboard can help you improve the way you get in shape.

Check out our schematic and start brainstorming the ways LIMBERboard can help you train.

Part One:

We created LIMBERboard to bring wearable technology to the maker community. While we’re crowdfunding, we thought it’d be great to start the creative juices flowing among our backers. So – what can you build with LIMBERboard?

It goes without saying that technology is the driver of how we monitor our health. Today, there is growing evidence that repeated head injuries can be tremendously damaging to our longterm brain and mental health – even if the head injuries are individually minor.

We believe that LIMBERboard will help innovative makers build amazing solutions to monitor these injuries. LIMBERboard’s versatile form factor allows it to be mounted in the complex areas of the human body where other wearable electronics cannot. Monitor your head impacts by fitting LIMBERboard to the back of your neck, behind your ear, or even on the bridge of your nose.
